What belongs here, and what does not.
These Community Guidelines describe what is and is not permitted on DEEDS.
They supplement our Terms of Use and apply to all accounts, posts, deeds, comments, messages, publications, photographs, videos, profiles, and other activity on DEEDS. If these Guidelines conflict with our Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control.
DEEDS has one rule underneath all the others. Leave the place better than you found it.
The rules below exist to protect the people using DEEDS, the integrity of what is recorded here, and the purpose of the platform.
A deed you actually did. Small is fine. Small is most of it.
You may share the work, the reason, the person who taught you, something you learned, something you made, something you gave, or something you are reading.
You may encourage someone else, pass a deed forward, share an idea, publish thoughtful work, or invite someone to participate.
Whatever you post should be genuine and consistent with the purpose of DEEDS.
DEEDS allows people to participate without exposing their identity. Respect that.
Think before posting another person. A photograph of someone you helped can turn your good deed into their unwanted exposure.
Do not post photographs, video, audio, or other recordings of another person unless you have the rights and permissions necessary to do so. When appropriate, obtain permission before posting.
If you cannot obtain permission, photograph the meal, the letter, the supplies, the work, the location, the empty chair, or something else that tells the story without identifying the person.
By posting content to DEEDS, you represent that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents reasonably necessary to post that content.
DEEDS is not a fundraising or payment platform.
Pornographic and sexually explicit content is not permitted. Nonconsensual intimate imagery is prohibited.
This includes authentic photographs or videos as well as altered, synthetic, manipulated, or AI generated depictions of an identifiable person.
Graphic violence, gore, and content primarily intended to shock, disturb, or traumatize are also prohibited.
If an intimate photograph, video, or other covered visual depiction of you has been posted on DEEDS without your consent, you or a person authorized to act on your behalf may request its removal.

Any sexual exploitation or abuse of minors is strictly prohibited.
This includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual solicitation, sexual exploitation, sexualized depictions of minors, and attempts to obtain or distribute such material.
Content or conduct involving apparent child sexual exploitation may be removed immediately, accounts may be suspended or terminated without warning, and information may be preserved or reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities when required or permitted by law.
DEEDS may take additional measures when necessary to protect minors.
Do not attack, threaten, degrade, dehumanize, or advocate violence against people based on protected characteristics.
Do not use DEEDS to promote hatred, exclusion, or violence directed at a protected group.
Discussion of difficult subjects is permitted. Targeted abuse is not.
Do not spam.
Do not log deeds you did not do.
Do not fabricate events, falsify evidence, manipulate records, impersonate another person or organization, or knowingly create a materially false impression about something that occurred.
Do not manufacture deeds solely to manipulate rankings, recognition, challenges, company statistics, or other measurements on DEEDS.
The usefulness of the platform depends on the integrity of what people record. A count nobody can trust is worth nothing.
Do not impersonate another person, company, nonprofit organization, government entity, or other organization in a misleading manner.
Do not create accounts intended to deceive people about who is responsible for them.
Parody, commentary, or other lawful expression must not be presented in a manner reasonably likely to mislead people about the source of the account or content.
Post only content you created or have the right to use.
Do not post material that infringes or misappropriates another person's copyright, trademark, publicity rights, or other intellectual property rights.

Do not interfere with the operation or security of DEEDS.
If you believe content or conduct violates these Guidelines, use the report function available on DEEDS.

Reports may be evaluated through automated systems, human review, or both.
Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, fraudulent, repetitive, or abusive reports. Submitting a report does not guarantee that content will be removed or that an account will be restricted.
Where available, you may block another member using the controls provided by DEEDS.
Blocking is a personal account control and does not necessarily constitute a determination that the blocked member violated these Guidelines.
Unilateral Good LLC reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take action when we believe content, conduct, accounts, or activity violate these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, other applicable policies, applicable law, or present a risk to DEEDS, its members, or others.

Enforcement decisions may consider the nature and severity of the conduct, context, account history, risk of harm, attempts to evade enforcement, legal requirements, and other relevant circumstances.
DEEDS is not required to monitor every account, communication, or piece of content. The fact that content remains available does not mean that DEEDS has reviewed, approved, endorsed, or determined that content complies with these Guidelines.
Failure to enforce a provision in one circumstance does not waive our right to enforce it in another.
If DEEDS provides an opportunity to appeal an enforcement decision, you may submit an appeal through the process provided with that decision or contact:
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate an appeal. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement of content, features, or an account.
Different subjects reach different desks. Use the right one and it moves faster.
We may modify these Community Guidelines from time to time, including to address changes to DEEDS, our community, technology, safety practices, or applicable law.
The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of material changes.
There are no followers worth chasing here and no metric worth gaming.
